Acer rubrum ‘Sun Valley’ is a medium-sized tree which is a cousin of Acer rubrum ‘Somerset’ with long lasting autumn colours. It’s favoured for it’s bright, colourful foliage that bursts into fiery shades of red and orange in the autumn. A vigorous grower when young with a symmetrical ovate crown in later life. Even though late to colour this is still a week before Acer rubrum ‘October Glory’.
